So I joined the BBW group on DA called CNyle-Love and figured I put a couple of my pics in there. One was accepted (link), another was declined (link) and two were left to expire in the Que (link) (link). Now my OC Felicia was accepted, she was fat enough, the one that was declined was of my character Holly who was playing with self so I guess it was because of some decency thing but the ones that were left were of Fumie and Roxie, certainty not thin gals but how could they miss on the BBW casting call. So it turns out that for this group a BBW means really, really, REALLY FAT, as my other pics weren't really cutting the bulge standards. Now as to personality of the characters, Fumie does not like to be refereed to as a BBW, to her its just as bad as calling her a 'cute fat chick'. Leaving her out fits her personality. Roxie on the other knows that lots of guys love her extra weight and she works it, but not being 'fat enough' suits her too as she accepts the fact of her weight even though she is not totally crazy about it.

Me personally I think those pics were left because of their breast to belly ratio wasn't large enough on the belly side to suit them. Most of my characters have a little extra around the middle. Felicia and Holly are my biggest girls next to Miranda. Even she may not make the cut.

I doubt I will be submitting any more to this group.

Worst Art Block... EVER!! But not all bad...

Until today I haven't drawn anything in almost a month!! That use to be unthinkable to me. All Ive worked on a quick little sketch of Mrs. M and touched up a picture if Cissy that been sitting for a while during my lunch break today but lately I've just lost it. I go on DA everyday and see all my friends and favorite artist just CRANKIN' OUT artwork like no tomorrow while I have problems wrapping up simple sketches in my mini sketch pad. I know it' one of the worst things to do, comparing yourself to other artist but I've just lost focus and I don't know why nor how to fix it as it's never hit me like this before, I mean NEVR!! Yeah there's been those periods of time between but normally due to lack of time but outside of Thanksgiving with my mother I've had all the time in the world. Even during my worst bouts with my depression I would manage to knock out a pic or two. This is so disheartening, I've been looking at my sketch book like its my free weights and I just don't want to do the exercise; which is something else my fat ass need to do but that's another subject for another blog at another time.

On the plus side the super awesome Andrew Dickman has put me on his watch list!! I was kinda star struck to think such a talented artist like him would check out my art and want do so on a regular basis. Andy was one of the first artist I discovered on DA and I know that this was truly a cool site where great artist shine. He said that even he is "...a sucker for sexy gal pictures." and thinks Chica and Fumie are adorable AND... that he checks out my blog now and then. That was cooler than when I saw the artist ShoNuff44 had faved my first Cino De Mayo picture. Yeah, I got self esteem issues... Anyway, Andy said we should do an art trade one day, how cool is that?! I'll take him up on that early next year after I put away some lagging projects and stuff. I have some much I could ask for art wise, some many characters, I'll have to think hard about what I'll ask for.

In the meanwhile, I'll keep pushing harder to create more art.

Hello, I’m the Phantom Scrippler, the writer of Pinky Promise Comic. The New Year has just started and things have been moving along steadily here. We managed to get an actual strip done, made several new characters, and have laid down a workable outline for how we would like the plot to go. Not bad for a part time effort on a non paying hobby. However, there has been one little thing that has been bothering me lately. So…..

*Drags out Soapbox and steps atop it.*

There has been a large increase in people complaining about a few of the characters that have been introduced lately. Mostly these individuals are objecting to Roxie and her daughter, Hilde, and to some degree, April as well. They claim that these women are stereotypical and bad for the image of women, due to the fact that they are manipulative of men, or that they are promiscuous, or buy into existing stereotypes, such as brain dead bimbos who are promiscuous. First off, I would like to point out that these are fictional characters, they are not real. You cannot go down the street and run into a anthropomorphic female bovine, let alone Roxie. Secondly, I and my artist partner are trying to write an entertaining story. Now while there is a great deal of sexual content, I still am attempting to keep some form of actual life in these stories, just ask GB, we’ve debated some pretty weird, ‘In this world how does etiquette deal with…’ ideas in an attempt to make things mesh, from the whole, ‘Cat and dog have a kid, what is it?’ to ‘What is the proper decorum for tails?’ to ‘Do Bovine’s eat hamburgers?’. The reason that these characters exist, is because they are, baring an increased libido, since it is a sex comic, like real people. You don’t like everyone; there are people out in the world right now who are just like all these characters. We have dominatrix’s, submissive, people with sexual addiction, drug addiction, normal people trying to rebuild their lives after divorces, deaths of family members, people going to college, programming computers, teaching classes, and yes, cheating on their husbands, and wives. We have strippers, who are trying to raise their daughters by whatever means they can, including leeching off of Sugar-daddies, and girls who are not the brightest bulbs in the bunch. I find it odd that no one has complained that Cissy, who is a Submissive, willingly allows herself to be ‘owned’ by men and obey their every command, and there has never been any comment about this, but if April uses her large breasts to get a free cab ride, or meal then immediately she’s harmful to the cause of women.

All the girls here that have been created by the joint effort of GB and myself, which is pretty much most of them, save the early handful, are based on people I’ve known. Sorry to say, but, in real life, women use their bodies to get what they want! I’m not condoning it, I’m not saying its right, I’m only making my world as real as I can, given the confines of our plot choices. I’ve known women who will use a tight, low cut shirt, or a miniskirt, as a tool in their arsenal. At where I work, female sales reps are constantly trying to close the deal by wearing stuff that I’ve see streetwalkers wear. They do it because it works. It happens. Some of you think that Roxie is horrible because of how she treats Richard. Newsflash, this happens all the time people! Women cheat on their husbands, and husbands cheat on their wives. We have both in our world, Roxie and Beth, Linda’s partner in business, got divorced because her husband cheated on her. And not with Roxie, Beth used to live in some completely different city. Hilde is based on a real girl, who was just like her in my school, and she was a sweetheart, and anyone, including me, was willing to beat the crap out of any guy who treated her wrong, because she was so sweet. The point I’m trying to make, is that these stories are supposed to be real, that’s what is supposed to make them entertaining. If you don’t like a character, that’s your right, you don’t have to read about them if you don’t want to, but don’t tell me that they are tearing down the dignity of woman kind by their existence. Dignity is where you find it. It takes a great deal of dignity to perform as an exotic dancer, day in and out. Especially when you are trying to support a child. If a woman wishes to remove her clothing in artistic dance, it is wrong to tell her that she is demeaning herself by doing it if she does not feel that way. I respect all exotic dancers when I have seen them, and known several as friends. If men don’t respect their art, then they are in the wrong, but it doesn’t demean women to perform well in their chosen occupation. If they don’t wish to do that for a living, I fully support helping them leave the lifestyle, and have to those friends who wished it.

Anyway, I’m done ranting, and hope you all join us for a new year that will hopefully increase our bringing out Pinky Promise to you. Thank you.

One last thing, to the few who have asked. Damien does not know that Roxie is married.

Long Time, No Rant...

My buddy Darrell San said I need to update my blog, so...

Well, my computer is still technically malfunctioning, but I finally made the push to start back working on it. I can do digital coloring in Photoshop but not as well or as easy as before. I've got new art on my web galleries except on GraphicBrat.com. That's where the malfunction kicks back in to that fact that not all my programs work. I'm lucky that Photoshop still functions for the most part.

I've got so much backed up art waiting to be colored on top of the stuff I'm doing recently. I've got a bunch of Uber Boobers with a couple of fun ones like Uber Boober Olive Oil and Cathy... yeah, Cathy from the daily comics. I did it in honor of her retirement, I'm a long time fan.

Finally got the comic Pinky Promise kinda running. I need to keep it up which will be the hard part. But my buddy Darrell who is the creator of the Blonde Marvel cranks out a load of pages a month, that's something I need to shoot for.

Anyways, I got that Uber Boober Nekko Angel Lorelei finished for MDetecor5 as a favor I owe him. Turned out pretty good. Here's a sample.

Computer Still Down...

For those of you who haven't gone to my DA page in a while, I'll bring you up to speed.

Due to an old, cheap, crappy surge protector my computer was hit by a power spike and wiped out Windows XP along with a great deal of my other operator systems. My programs are all it tract thank God but most will not function and those that do will not operate properly. So no scanning or coloring until I can buy a copy of Windows XP for my machine.

I've been drawing alot so that's some good news. Got an Uber Boober on the way for MDetecor5 as a favor I owe him. I've got teenage Roxie which will be an Fur Affinity exclusive since she will be under age or close to; too much so to post on DA. Teen Roxie will be fun, since she'll show a little background on why she is such a huge slut. And I've gotten a jump start on the Fumie 4th of July pic. It's gonna be real nice.

I'll let everyone know when things are back up and rolling.

My Uber Boober art is not as popular as it was before. My Uber Boober Sorceress pic has barely quacked a 1000 views, when back in the day any uber boober pic would easily hit 3000 to 4000 views and that would be the less known characters or original characters. One of the last uber I did was one of Gerenne from Ill Will Press, I ecpected that one to be a huge hit but it I got only have the reponcses I thought it would. Even thought Ill Will Press creator showed some love on his blog, it still didn't get the views. I'm wondering why the lost interest in my uber boobers. I do need to work on my anatomy, the uber girls I've done latey are kinda short and stocky, just tits and hips. That use to be enough but I guess I need to work on it.

I haven't been keeping up with my blog! Bad GraphicBrat, Bad!! The last time I was bitchin bout anything was in Oct '09 and about keepin up my website graphicbrat.com; hard to believe people still go there even though I haven't updated it in months, even after my last blog. I could lay on lame excuses bout depression and selfloathing and what not, but nobody what to hear that shit. If you're like me, you just want to see more boobies and 'other' art. The artist can cry in his beer on his own time, just keep the titties rollin'!! AMEN TO THAT BROTHERS!! (and any sisters that may be out there).

Truth is I've been drawing quite a bit, just haven't been coloring as much. I've got at least 6 pictures in back logged waiting to be colored and 2 waiting to be finished color. I don't like posting black and white art cause no one really gives a fuck and let's be honest, it's all about your opinions stroking my ego. I've been working, just ain't got nothing to show. I hate making my normal false promises about new work but I will humbly ask you to keep an eye out. I am making a big push here to get new art for you guys.

I finally got around to making some much needed changes to my web site that I kept putting off. Most of the changes are with the gallery, breaking it down so the viewers can go right to what they want to see. Now all I need is new exclusive art for my web site, right now it's everything that I got on DA or other sites. They're a couple of unpublished commission pic that you may not have seen, depending on if the client posted them himself. A lot of the exclusive art will be b&w sketches and such which don't get love on DA (or at least mine don't) so I'll save them for my site. I start with Uber Boobers and do some Fumie pics and bring in others as I go.

What I want is to do an online Fumie comic. Got lots of great stories and cool character put together with my writer, 'The Shadow Scribbler'. I need to check in with some buddies of mine who already have web comics and see what is needed technically speaking. My site is not as cool as I would like it to be but web site design was never my strong point. Despite the weak design and old art, I'm still getting about the same view of views at graphicbrat.com as I am on devaintART. And things are getting better everyday so for now I'm happy.

Making Some Changes...

Making some changes...

I've looked back on my past blogs and noticed how much bitchin I do, and if I'm not bitchin then I'm making hollow promises to my viewers and myself. Well I figured that if this is gonna be an 'art blog' then I should show art; art that's in the works, art that is just sketches and art that is finished and so forth.

First, my Fumie comic Yubi-Kiri (Pink-Promise), I can't really said I'll make my goal of having it online by Fall since I never really defined exactly what that will entitled but here is something to look forward to. Part of a quick intro comic with an actual male character, the main one in fact. Derek is Fumie's childhood BFF, they paractily brother and sister even though they both have much deeper feelings than that but neither are willing to make the first move so they just play the games that people in love do.

Next is Miranda, my voluptuous bunny girl and her long absence of new art in my galleries. Basically put I've been having problems drawing her as I'm trying to work out the whole bunny ear thing. In furry art as far as I've noticed there are two places to put the ears on furry characters that are more human than animal such as mine, on top of the head or on the side. Both places work for most animals like cats, dogs, pigs or whatever, but it's a little different with animals with longer ears such as rabbits and horses. Now I'm well aware that it's merely a simple personal and artistic choose to make and there is no real wrong answer, but it has hung me up regardless. I've but working on my anatomy both human and animal to the get the right look and that comfort zone with my art.

Another thing is Miranda’s body in general. I normal use real woman as ‘body models’ for my female characters. I like using different body types and so forth, so with Miranda I originally had chosen Samantha 36G, one of my favorite BBW models and porn stars. However, being the boobie freak that I am Miranda’s breasts would grow larger every time I drew her, much large than that of her body model Samantha. So what I needed was a ‘breast model’ like when I use Boobie Goddess and model Milena Velba breasts as reference for Fumie.

But I wanted a girl with the full figure and large firm breast to match and I couldn’t find a girl to make the cut, because I was being over judgmental, yes I know. Finally getting my head out of my ass I happened once a new boobie model on http://www.myboobsite.com/blog/renee-ross-tits-tits-tits-video/ named Renee Ross, and we have a winner! Her body & breasts are just what I’ve been looking for. So I’m working on new Miranda art and comics, so keep an eye out.

Also, I have to remind people that I draw other things besides boobs. My breast fetish has been an ever growing part of my art for a long time and I do have to make a conscious effort to keep some kind of balance, with that said "... and now for something completely different."

Pushing Forward!!

I've been doing a lot of drawing! I trying to get my dreams off the ground. I see so many great artist who have created such awesome work as well as some not so great artist who have done so much more than I have. So, it's time to step it up! My latest goal is to have my Fumie comic Yubi-Kiri (Pink-Promise) online by fall. With my writer who shall be known as 'The Shadow Scribbler' we have come up with a massive amount of stories and characters for Fumie to play with for a long time.

I've also got a new productivity schedule that seems to be going well. Basically I'm multi-tasking, working on several pics at once instead of my normal start to finish routine. With several fires burning at once, I can push forward projects or put them back, I won’t get bore or bogged down on one having a bunch of other I can switch to. I know that sounds a bit too simple and that I've worked on bunches or projects before, but I've always started a pic and won't move on until it was done. It's a habit I ingrained on me as a kid because I would leave many pictures unfinished, and I hated that so I would force myself to finish a pic before starting a new. Now as an adult, at least in body, I have the will to finish all my pics so I just need to have the mental freedom to work around things when needed.

It always makes me smile to get Fumie fan mail. I still really don't know what it is about the girl that folks are so in love with; it seems to be more the a tit and ass thing, but regardless she gets a lot of love and I wish to thank all of you. WTF?! Ripped Off Again!!!

I just spent 14 or more hours working on a commission project for this porno site only to get a email saying that "We will not be needing your services. " WHAT... THE... FUCK?!?!? I can not believe the bullshit that I go through dealing with commission work! I have great prices, I do great work and my turnaround maybe a little slow but I get the job done. So again, WHAT... THE... FUCK?!?!? What pisses me off more than anything is to have my work rejected. It's not like getting a unfavorable comment on DA (which pisses me off too, but not as much) , it's a direct rejection to me. My ego takes a shot to the balls with a baseball bat when this happens and makes me lose sight of all the good work that I have done. I know I need tougher skin, but that shit is still a pisser.

I've been told that I should at least collect a fee or deposit up front to keep most of the jackasses away or even better keep them honest. And they're right, I should do that. But I am a believer of taking drastic action for definite results and therefore I will be closing commission work permanently. It's long hours with little payoff and to risk getting ripped off is not worth it at all. So no more commissions, ever.

Now I can focus all my time and effort or MY ART!! Drawing what I want to draw. Finally I can get back to directing my attention on Fumie and other projects. I put baby in the corner long enough, and you know the line; ‘No one puts baby in the corner.’

Well, I feel a little better. That’s all for now.

New Art!?

Well I haven't made much new art. I've got lots of ideas but either no time or no energy to make it. I spend way too much time on DA, FA, HF, HA and all the other gallery sites you can think of, looking at other peoples cool art instead of making my own. And God, let's not go into all the porn I look at... it's pretty much an addiction. So many ideas!! Too many to go into. I'm working on a artwork scheduling log or list that will help me put things in order. I'm going to have to quit doing commissions because mainly it's not paying what it need to and partly it's hard to get the timing right to do them. If I had commission work I had to do that I wasn't crazy about doing then I would put it off and if I had backed up commission work then I wouldn't do any other art until the commission art was done. Hence the lack of art in 2008. Hard work + Low pay = Lazy Artist.

I want to work on my comics, ALL OF THEM! My Fumie comic 'Yubi-Kiri' (Pinky Promise) , so many new characters and stories; My BigEYE Comic titles 'Lipstix Truama' and 'Igazon' and other ones that have yet tot full form in my head. 'Igazon' is something no one has seen yet, mostly because he is my pride and joy and partly because I afraid people will wrongly connect him to a character created by a popular artist on DA, so I want his into to be done right. I want to work on other peoples art and comics like my online buddy Darrell with his awesome story of 'Blonde Marvel', check him out if you haven't already! I've been putting off doing more fan art for a while. And I've got lots of DA buddies whose art I would like to color or do fan art.

I'm tyring to work a month ahead. Right now I've got February - Valentines pics in the works, at least as ideas, got some for March as well. I want to do more Uber Boobers!! They are what put me on the map. More Shego art, maybe some naughty stuff for another website instead of DA. And more of my versions of the GoBots. That 'Crasher' pic I did is very popular. I like when people place my art in their blogs and forums, it's really cool. I've got a great idea for Cykill and Turbo and I think I finally came up with something for Leader-1, it should be good.

Porno-rehab that is. He just told me that he wont be able to work with me on any 'adult' comics anymore because he's cutting out porn and porno related materials from his life. This really suck since we both have come such a long way with Fumie and the other characters, many that we had yet to reveal. I must truck on by myself and start writing the Fumie comic 'Yubi-Kiri' (Pinky Promise) all on my own. There's still a lot of material we have laid out so it shouldn't be a deal killer but it sure won't be as fun.

After dealing with those fuckers for about a year they finally terminated my contract. Thank you God! Biggest waste of my fucking time EVER! Don't know what the deal was but my art just wasn't selling. Didn't understand how if other artist from DA can submit artwork from DA and make money and when I did the same I got nothing. Some kind of bullshit. I don't really care about that as long as they remove my art from that site.

Those assholes have done it again and removed my ‘Uber Boober Jessie RETURNS’ pic as well as the ‘Uber Boober Judy’, saying that they were “determined that the characters depicted in a nude or erotic fashion in this deviation are established as being underage.”

I told these muthafukaz “…do a search on DevianART for “Jessie” and get 5 to 10 pictures PER A PAGE that “…the characters depicted in a nude or erotic fashion…” as my artwork…” and that whichever one of the staffers decided that my art was “judged unacceptable” simply did not like my work. That they didn’t like expansion art, so like some fascist art Nazi they removed my pictures and basically DevianART has lopped sided and hypocritical policies.

To the DA admin staffers, I say to them the same I say anybody who doesn’t like my work of giant boobs “GO AWAY!! LOOK AWAY!!” DA loves changing their policies like they’re changing the oil in their cars; every 3 months or 3000 views dump the old. As usual, some asshole reported the pictures because they didn’t like giant boobs, and some asshole admin decide to remove them because they didn’t like giant boobs.

I was told this about my art work:

“Some submissions are removed simply because they were seen before others, and some deviants will receive a warning or punishment because they were caught misbehaving while others were not.
Due to the high amount of submissions and interaction all problems, concerns, violations and other situations all violations of policy will be addressed in the order in which they come to the attention of the deviantART staff, whether this occurs via personal browsing efforts or anonymous reports made through the Helpdesk or other fashion.”

Which just goes to what I was saying, some deviant member didn’t like my work so they reported it and then some staffers decided that my art was “judged unacceptable” simply because they did not like my work. And worst is that these people aren’t self policing the site but just letting members express their ‘personal taste’ and then they respond. Which is why the other art pieces will NEVER be removed because they don’t bring the kind of attention to itself such as mine did.

The angry mob controls the town and the police clean up the pieces. This is not my site so I have no choice but to ‘SUCK IT’ when dealing with DevianART administrative double standard, hypocritical policies!
